Glassdoor NFC Card: Employer Reviews Made Easy

Glassdoor NFC Card: Employer Reviews Made Easy

Candidates check Glassdoor before applying, especially at larger employers and multinational companies. Reviews from current and former staff influence who applies and who accepts an offer. A Glassdoor NFC card makes it easy for people who want to share their experience to reach your company page.

How it works

We program your company’s Glassdoor page link on the chip. Someone who taps the card sees your Glassdoor page and can leave a review from there. The card does not force anyone to review; it just removes the effort.

Follow Glassdoor’s guidelines

Glassdoor has clear expectations. In general:

  • Invite, do not pressure. Staff must feel free to say what they think, including criticism.
  • No rewards for reviews. Do not offer gifts, days off or bonuses in exchange for reviews.
  • No fake reviews. Do not ask managers or friends to post glowing reviews.
  • Do not single out happy staff. Invite everyone.

Reviews collected this way are more credible and last longer. Check Glassdoor’s current employer guidelines.

Where to place it

  • HR desk and onboarding sessions.
  • Exit interviews, where departing staff may want to share feedback.
  • Staff pantry or notice board.
  • Career fairs and campus drives, so candidates can read reviews about you.
  • Company events.

Use the feedback

A review is a chance to learn. Read what staff say, look for repeated points and act on them. Then tell people what you changed. When staff see action, their next review is more positive, and more honest.

Answer reviews politely

You can respond publicly. Keep replies short, calm and professional. Never argue with a reviewer, and never reveal private details.

Combine with LinkedIn

Candidates also visit your LinkedIn page. A LinkedIn card for recruiters and managers helps. Read our LinkedIn card guide.

Bulk orders

Large employers can order cards for each office. Review products are sold wholesale with a minimum order per product (100 for cards, 25 for standees, plates and coins): see wholesale pricing.

Common questions

Will employees feel pressured?

Not if you present the card as optional. Say clearly that anyone may review, or not, and that honest feedback is welcome.

Can I choose which employees get a card?

It is better to make it available to everyone, since Glassdoor expects employers not to pick only positive voices.

Can the card link to my careers page instead?

Yes. Any link works, so you could point it at your careers page for candidates, but then it is no longer a review card.
