Spotify and SoundCloud NFC Cards for Musicians and Podcasters

After a good performance, people ask, “Where can I listen to you?” If you have to spell your artist name, many will forget. The Spotify NFC card and the SoundCloud NFC card put your music one tap away.

Spotify NFC card

The Spotify card opens whatever Spotify link you choose:

your artist page, for followers,
an album or single, for a new release,
a playlist, for your favourite tracks or a café playlist,
a podcast, for new episodes.

Best for:

bands and solo artists at gigs,
podcasters at events,
cafés and shops that share their playlist,
wedding bands and DJs.

SoundCloud NFC card

The SoundCloud card opens your profile, a set or one track. SoundCloud is popular with independent artists, DJs and producers who upload mixes and demos.

Best for:

DJs and beatmakers,
producers sharing demos with artists,
underground and new artists,
music academies and studios.

Which to choose?

Choose Spotify if your music is released on streaming platforms and you want listeners and followers to find it.
Choose SoundCloud if you share mixes, remixes and demos, or if your community lives there.
Use both if you have both, or use one card that links to a page listing them.

Where to hand them out

At gigs, on the merch table and the stage.
At events where you meet promoters.
In press kits and demo packs.
At your café or store, next to the counter.

Add a short instruction

Next to the card, print “Tap to listen”. A small line about your latest release makes people curious: “New single out now.”

Keep the link current

If you release new music often, it is annoying to update cards. A dynamic link lets you switch from one release to the next without new cards.
