NFC Review Card vs Standee vs Coin vs Plate: Which Should You Buy?

NFC Review Card vs Standee vs Coin vs Plate: Which Should You Buy?

We sell four ways to collect reviews with a tap. They all use the same idea, but each fits a different situation. Here is how to choose.

At a glance

  • Review card, Rs 399: a card the size of a bank card, with your review platform’s style on the front and a QR code on the back.
  • Standee, Rs 799: a table-top stand with an NFC tap area and a QR code.
  • Review plate, Rs 799: a flat 100 × 100 mm plate with NFC and a QR code.
  • Review coin, Rs 499: a small round adhesive tag.

When to choose the card

Choose a card when you hand it to customers or place it in a small holder.

  • In bill folders at restaurants.
  • Inside parcels and delivery boxes.
  • In hotel rooms and welcome packs.
  • For platforms other than Google, for example Trustpilot, Tripadvisor or Booking.com, where a card in a box or room fits best.

When to choose the standee

Choose a standee when you want the review point to be seen from a distance.

  • On restaurant and café tables.
  • At busy counters where customers wait.
  • In waiting rooms.

When to choose the plate

Choose a plate when desk space is tight.

  • Reception desks in clinics, offices and hotels.
  • Pharmacy and bank counters.
  • Anywhere a tall stand would get in the way.

When to choose the coin

Choose a coin when you need the smallest and cheapest option.

  • Next to card machines.
  • On menus, bill folders and bags.
  • On delivery bags and vehicles.
  • To put several review points around a large shop.

Combine them

Many businesses use more than one. A restaurant might use standees on tables, a coin at the till and a card in each delivery bag. A clinic might use a plate at reception and a coin in the waiting area.

What about NFC or QR only?

Every card, standee and plate has both NFC and a QR code, so no customer is left out. See NFC vs QR code for reviews.

A simple rule

If you are unsure, start with one standee or plate at the point where customers pay, and add coins at other spots. Then read where to place a standee and where to stick a coin.
